Women & Power at the National Trust

CURATORIAL CONSULTANT and RESEARCH PARTNER (2017-19)

In 2018 the national public programme of the National Trust, Challenging Histories, celebrates women's histories, activism and suffrage. This large-scale exploration of interpretation and gender at National Trust places in England, Wales and NI will set the pace for heritage sites and collections demonstrating their social value for women and girls in supporting cultural access, participation and education.

As the evaluation research partner and curatorial advisor I will engage with the processes, case studies, outcomes and legacies of the programme with NT, in relation to issues of equality and diversity within built and natural heritage interpretation. This work will be published and shared widely.
